Short update x Taobao guide

Hello!

It's been more than 3mths since my last post cos i'm getting super lazy despite being super free and having nth t do. =/

Haven't been doing much lately besides heading out/watching dramas during weekdays and spending my weekends with the boy. Oh and btw, we've just celebrated our 3rd yr anniversary last sat! Haha. Time's passing so fast! I'll prob blog about tt some other day. Too much backlog i think i might just skip some of them, like the taiwan posts, cos i really dunno how t start blogging on a 16 days trip. =/ Or maybe i'll just do a summary, and also for my recent trip t HK in oct as well. Maybe i should start blogging more often again since i've got a lot of time now and nth t do. ):

I'm currently looking for a job, but it hasn't been progressing very well. Prob cos it's the yr end and most of the companies ain't hiring at this time of the yr. Getting really bored, plus bf's in army now, it makes me really wanna start work badly. But now tt i wanna start working, i cant find a job. Why is it always like tt... )':

***

Well anw, i'm back again cos i kinda wanna share on my experience w Taobao and also how you could go about purchasing w/o going through agents like 65daigou/peeka etc.

Now tt Taobao is gaining popularity in SG, i'm sure a lot of you are curious about how t make purchases and all. The easiest way is prob you engage an agent like 65daigou/peeka, however, you'll incur agent fees and also, the waiting time is a lot longer if you were t ship by sea.

Since Taobao now has an Southeast Asia page, it makes things a lot easier. You can like their FB page here. They're quite efficient and helpful in terms of responding t your qns!

Taobao now offers a few shipping agents who will ship your items t you. These agents are different from the ones you're aware of like 65daigou, etc. Instead of purchasing through the agent's website, you actually purchase the items yourself and get it shipped t the warehouse of the shipping agents. It is much faster as shipping is by air, and the price you pay are about the same as what you pay the agents t ship by sea!

So the first step is t create a Taobao account! You can either register w an email add or your mobile no.

For registering w an email add:

And for registering w your mobile no.:
Select your country from the drop down list and key in your mobile no. You'll receive a verification code.

For a more detailed guide, you can also visit the website.

So once you've set up your account, you can now start shopping! I'd usually view recently purchased items from 65daigou/peeka for reference. Or if i see sth i like from blogshops which are not self-manufactured, i'd also try my luck t see if i can find it from Taobao. Most of the times you'll be able t find it, esp the very common ones. And most of the items you see on preorder can actually be found on Taobao! I'd usually search by keying in the keywords for eg. colour/design/material.

The basic info about sellers are tt sellers w golden crowns have the best ratings, followed by silver crowns, diamonds and lastly hearts. I'm more of a meticulous kinda person so i'd always try t make sure tt the clothes would fit me fine, by reading reviews or communicating w the sellers via aliwangwang, which is messenger similar t MSN. Sometimes i'd buy from sellers w ratings of only hearts if they have good reviews, cos most of the times sellers w hearts are actually quite new and their prices will be lower than the rest.

Reviews are quite helpful as they will give you info on whether the material is good or if the sizing runs big or small, etc. Speaking from experience, most of the time the measurements are slightly bigger by a few cm, unless stated tt sizing runs big/small in reviews. But i guess it's pretty normal cos  measurements provided by blogshops are usually different by a few cm as well.

You can find clothes as cheap as less than S$10 on Taobao. However, from what i've noticed, usually those tt're too cheap t be true doesn't come w good material. Unless you're fine w those material tt feels stuffy when worn (if you see 不透气 in reviews), then i guess it's alright? If not try t stay away from those suuuuuuper cheap ones, though sometimes it's really tempting. But you'll prob regret when it comes. Haha. =/

For shipping, you can select the shipping agents while making payment. Taobao accepts payment by visa/mastercard. I've tried using both payment methods for my recent purchase and the rates were pretty decent! I think i've got about 4.72 for visa and 4.73 for mastercard.

For a more detailed guide, you can visit this link.

I haven't tried using any of the shipping agents in the list though, cos i've actually found one even before they introduced the S.E.A page. It used t be slightly cheaper, but they recently increased their price by a lil, so it's about the same as some of those provided. However, since i've alrd used this agent for a couple of times and am familiar w how they work, i decided t stick t the same agent.

The prices are pretty reasonable. I usually pay about S$2-4 for shipping per item on ave, depending on the amount of items i purchase each time. And it usually takes about 2-3 working days t reach me after the agent has shipped it out. Super fast right! If you're interested t try it out, here's the link

They'll provide you w the warehouse's add, and once the sellers ship out the items, you'll have t do up an excel order sheet and they'll tally the items w the order sheet. Their service is pretty good and they're friendly and helpful as well. However, do note tt they do not check if the items sent are of correct colour or sizes. Also, for fragile items or shoes whereby you wanna keep the original packaging on, you'll have t let them know as well. If you don't need the original packaging, they'll remove it and pack them accordingly t minimise the size of the package, cos they'll use actual/volumetric weight, whichever is heavier. And usually volumetric weight is heavier, so you'll wanna minimise the size in order t cut down the shipping cost.

Out of all my purchases, there was only once tt item was sent in the wrong size, so i guess it's quite alright. There're definitely some hits and misses. Afterall, tt's how online shopping is right? Haha. I'm glad most of the time they meet my expectations or of satisfactory quality, maybe cos i'm careful w my purchases. Lol.

So... here's what i bought recently! More of formal wear though, cos i wanted t have some 'backup' in case i find a job, though sadly i haven't. ):
I'm pretty satisfied w my purchases this time round! Except for the blue blazer on the top right corner cos the colour's slightly different from the pic, which is also my most ex buy out of all (approx S$25 after factoring in shipping cost).

Bought 2 casings for my MBA at a really great deal! The MBA was a gift from the boy for my bday this yr. <3 I've been wanting t get a case for protection t prevent any scratches. And Taobao really has almost everything you want! Haha

The purple one was approx S$6.70 and the red one slightly more ex cos it comes w keyboard protector and also the stoppers, which was approx S$9.60.

Sorry for the really wordy and lengthy post! But i hope it'll help those who wanna purchase from Taobao but dunno how t. I'm quite sure these shipping agents cost lesser than using the agents in SG, since there isn't any agent fees. Do lmk if you have even cheaper alternatives! (:

Last few moments of 'freedom'.

I was kinda on a mission t feed my boy fat fat w good food before he enlists and suffer. But i guess it was kinda redundant cos surprisingly, he didnt complain at all, besides tt training was tiring which was pretty normal? He even said tt the food was like food court food so he dont even have any cravings when i asked him what he wanted t eat when he books out. Haha

And so, 2wks have passed and im only blogging about it now. =/ Cant wait t see him tmr! This is prob the longest time we've been away from each other. Kinda hope tt he wouldnt have t go for ovs trips cos tt'll prob be longer than 2 wks. But oh well, i guess it's unavoidable. ):

So anyways, i brought him t have his fav yakiniku for dinner 2 nights before he enlists. We decided t give Aburiya a try instead of heading back t Yazawa again.

Was afraid tt it'll be full by the time we reach there cos i've read tt reservations are recommended, but thankfully it was still quite empty when we reached arnd 7pm.

So not used t him w/o his long and thick hair, but i cant stop playing we his hair ever since he cut botak! Hehe

Portobello, $7.90.
One of the highly recommended dish! This was super shiok!

Jo karubi, $15.90.
I think this was from the angus beef section if i didnt rmb wrongly. I've always thought tt angus beef is one of the higher grade beef like wagyu, but this tasted like normal beef. Maybe im just not really a beef person so i cant tell the diff if there isnt a huge diff. Haha

Kurobuta karubi, $11.90.
Cant really tell the diff between pork and kurobuta either even though i've had kurobuta a number of times. Is there really a diff? =/

Ohmi wagyu tokumori, $39.90 (back)
Iberico tokumori set, $15.90 (front)

We thought the Iberico set, which is actually pork, was really worth it! Cant rmb which parts it consists but if you wanna try a variety of diff parts of meat, i would really recommend getting the set!

We opted for Ohmi wagyu instead of Hokkaido cos the staff mentioned tt Ohmi tastes better. And we really had no regrets, even though it was more expensive than the Hokkaido one. I could really taste the diff between this and the angus beef we order.

Thanks t the bf's cooking skills, he cooked it perfectly and the way i liked it! I usually avoid eating steak cos they're usually very chewy and after eating half of it i'd get sick of biting. Haha. But the steak cubes tt came w the set was soft and juicy! Bf liked the steak cubes out of all the other variety tt came w it.

We were glad tt we went t Aburiya instead. Aburiya has more variety as compared t Yazawa, and is more affordable as well. But Yazawa is more about quality. The bill added up t $111.10 for 2, which was slightly more ex than what we paid for Yazawa the other time. But we ordered more meat this time round, which explains the price diff.

I guess if you want variety and pocket friendly yakiniku, Aburiya would be a good choice. But if you're feeling rich and willing t pay more than $50 for good grade beef, Yazawa would be good as well. Haha. The price range at Yazawa is pretty wide though, so it really depends on what you order.

#01-03, The Quayside, 60 Robertson Quay
Tel: 67354862

Trying t take as many pics as possible before he enlists, and i really liked this one!

***

We headed back t Robertson Quay the next day for more food! Decided on Toby's Estate for brunch! Been wanting t visit Toby's for ages but i've always had the impression tt Robertson Quay is inconvenient, parking there will be expensive or there'll be ERP and tt Toby's is always crowded. But i was wrong! Cos i realised tt there's bus from my house and the bus stop is within walking distance. Hehe. And bf said tt we didnt pass by any ERP gantry on our way to Aburiya. So i guess Robertson Quay area will be one of my fav hangout now!

On our way~

I really liked the place cos it reminds me of the quaint cafes we visited in Taiwan. And it's not as busy as those located near CBD areas, where you can just sit there and do your work, read a book, catch up with friends and not having t worry tt people would chase you or stare at you when it's getting crowded so tt you'd leave.

Cafes in SG are probably just too... commercialised and business minded i guess? It's prob a whole diff feel when you visit cafes overseas.

What we ordered: cafe latte, breakfast taco and Toby's breakfast.

I think out of all the big breakfasts i've had, this is one of the best and also the largest portion! They were so generous w the serving, definitely worth the price! And i really liked the brioche toast, in fact i think i have a soft spot for brioche toasts. Haha

I havent really had tacos before and this was pretty good, bf really liked it as well. BUT, halfway through his taco he spotted a metal piece which looked like a large staple. Thankfully he saw it before biting another mouth.

So we informed the staff about it, and i gotta say, the chef is really professional in handling the issue. He offered us another item off the menu tt's on the house. One of their staff wasnt tt professional though. =/

So, we ordered eggs royale! Was contemplating between this and Toby's breakfast, and im glad i managed t try both!

Thought it was kinda different tt they wrap the smoked salmon around the poached egg instead of underneath it like the usual ones. Again, they were really generous with their serving. See how thick the smoked salmon are instead of the usual thin ones you get? Haha. And i really liked the idea of using brioche toast! It's soft and blends in very well as compared t muffins etc which most cafes uses.

Toby's has gotta be one of our fav cafes till date, we see ourselves returning for more real soon!

We headed over t Common Man Coffee Roasters after which since we were just around the corner and i've been seeing it too often on my IG feed! But after we knew tt it's opened by Forty Hands, our expectations werent very high anm since we had a pretty bad experience at Forty Hands. =/

Ordered peppermint tea cos we were too full for more coffee, and tea aids digestion! Haha. Aint their teapot cool?

We wanted sth light so we ordered churros as desserts, and i rmb seeing someone mention tt it's really good. But sadly, it wasnt. ): It was pretty inconsistent, some w lots of flour in the middle and some with just the crust.

Having bad churros in cafes makes me wonder if it's really hard t make them, cos USS makes them so so well! The churros at USS are prob one of the best i've ever had!

Not sure about other items on the menu though, since i've saw really good reviews on their organic egg benedicts. Might prob drop by again t try their brunch, but im not sure if im willing t pay tt much for egg benedicts since the ones at Forty Hands were much of a disappointment. =/

And the day has come, for the bf t enlist. Honestly, i've nvr thought i'd have t go through the NS stage when i was still single cos at tt time my friends were all in army or ORD alrd. I've nvr thought tt i'd be tgt w someone younger than me so i wasnt really expecting this. But, life's unpredictable sometimes. I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder? And if you're able t pass through the difficult times, everything will seem possible thereafter.

My eyes looked kinda swollen, prob cos i didnt really slp well the night before, thanks t paul's super loud snores!

The bridge tt leads you t Tekong. Lol

Surprisingly we were allowed t take pics. So yup, for those who havent been t Tekong before, it looks just like a school, like what you see in Ah boys t men. Haha

The tour was nth much, just t let you know and uds what they'll be doing and stuff. And with tt oath, they 'sold' their lives. =/ Was quite surprised but the number of girls among them though. Really look up t them for having the courage t go through army.

Bf's definition of food court food. Lol. The portion was quite big and i actually thought it'll only taste good for tt day but he's been saying the food tasted good so i guess it's consistent and not for show?

Oh and they even had icecream! Quite good life uh nowadays? They can even bring camera phones or portable chargers in now. Haha

And so, we bidded goodbye for 2wks. I cant even spot him cos all of them look the same t me. Lol. Glad tt it's finally TGIF as im typing the post. I managed t survive these 2 wks better than i expected, so i guess it aint as bad as i thought? Paul kept telling me tt he'd laugh at me if i cry, but nope i didnt. But apparently there were girlfriends who cried. Haha

And he's quite lucky cos there's some NS run thingy so he only has t book in on mon evening! Tt's good news for me! :D

TGIF everyone! Hope you'll have a great wkend ahead as well! (:

Sunday 18 August 2013

It's been awhile,

Hello!

I havent been blogging for a really long time have i? (as usual) =/ But at least im back, like finally after much procrastination. Hehe

So anyways, i've got good news! I've finally cleared my modules and have graduated from UOL! Ok, not really graduated la since the graduation ceremony's like next yr. Didnt do well though (as compared t my friends) but at least i passed and have a cert. I'm really happy and glad i almost cried when i saw my results, like my hard work finally paid off! But of course i felt a lil sad aft tt cos i missed by a lil t have done better, and by a lil i meant like 1 or 2 marks kinda little! Sigh, i guess the examiners are really sadistic, like what's new? ): But oh well, at least it's over. IM DONE W SCHOOL. I doubt i'll ever go back t studying again, cos it's sucha torture!

***

And yeap, im back from my TW trip for like a mth (oh i just realised it's exactly a mth! how time flies...). But i think i'll prob blog about TW some time later cos im not done sorting out the pics yet (too lazy), and there's wayyyy too many t blog about.

So... i shall blog on part of the 'we're back in SG' part first instead. Nth much actually, just eat and nua and watch drama w the boy almost everyday, since he was enlisting soon and we wanted t spend some quality time tgt. Managed t strike off quite a few places from my to-go list!

#1: Roadhouse
Been wanting t come here for ages cos i always see pics of burgers and brunches from Roadhouse and they look really yummy!
Crispy buttermilk onion rings, $10.
Kinda disappointing cos we thought it'd be like the usual thick onion rings.
High on shrooms, $25.
This was pretty decent, but the best burger still goes t Omakase! Plus the price is about the same.
Breakfast of champions, $24.
I always cant resist burgers w egg and bacon!
S'more ice cream cake, $12.
I've always wanted t try making s'mores but didnt manage t find graham crackers only until recently! Shall try making it soon.
This is good for sharing cos it's pretty big and filling, considering tt we're pretty full from our burgers. But it was so good we finished it!

#2: Strangers Reunion
I've been here before but not at their new location, so i brought the boy there cos i thought the food was pretty good the first time i went there.
But... It was kind of a disappointment. I think i liked their old menu better, despite seeing lotsa good reviews on the new menu as well. Idk if we ordered the wrong stuff or what.
The spam fries tasted more like luncheon meat than spam, really regretted not ordering truffle fries. The wagyu beef sliders were abit dry. Ordered Magic and it didnt taste as good as the first time either. The only thing we liked was prob the waffles, ironically sth tt was from the old menu. =/
The new menu's also alot more ex, not as affordable and no more sandwiches! ):
Ootd for the day: Top from TW (also available on jocobana), shorts and sandals also from TW.

#3: Baker & cook
Finally here! Another 'been wanting t come for a long time' place.
Didnt order brunch tt day cos i wasnt really hungry (appetite kinda shrunk aft i came back from tw) and was craving for sth light and sweet.
But, it was a big mistake. ):
The au pain chocolat was cold, i thought it's a norm t heat it up but they didnt. The mille feuille tasted pretty weird, different from the usual ones we've had. Only the lemon tart was good. And it was also one of the reasons i've been wanting t visit. Even bf liked it, considering he's not a fan of lemon tarts at all.

#4: Timhowan
Please do take note of the notice!
They were pretty strict on this. Bf and paul went t queue earlier (even before they were open) and i was late cos i couldnt wake up thanks t my screwed up body clock. ): And they really didnt allow them t enter first. Was a lil pissed but there's nth much we could do either cos we knew about it and HK practices it as well.
The best time t visit THW is prob in the morning before they even open. It's better t wait 1hr than come later and wait longer right? Haha. But i've heard tt if you're lucky you could get a seat w less than 20mins wait!

What we ordered for 3!
Do note tt there's a limit for the baked bun w BBQ pork. We misunderstood what they meant and thought they meant 3 portions per pax, but they actually meant 3pcs (which is 1 portion) per pax. Wanted t tabao home for our parents but could only get 1 more portion in the end since we've alrd ordered 2. ):
They couldnt resist the food so they ate first before every dish we ordered came. Lol
The must order dish! And prob the reason why we'll return t THW. I've read reviews tt the standard of THW in SG isnt as good as HK's so i havent had really high expectations about the food. But surprisingly, the buns were as good as those we had in HK!
If only they had takeaway service... Cos the rest of what we ordered really aint tt fantastic. ): Only liked the steamed egg cake and congee besides the baked BBQ pork bun. The steamed egg cake was so soft and fluffy, and the congee was really smooth!

The chee cheong fun was a lil too thick. And the rest were just normal. Bf said the chicken feet was good though. He's the only one who eats tt cos both paul and i dont like it. Lol. He's weird like my mum, they like t eat food tt have lots of bones. -.-

The queue became this long after we've finished eating. Quite normal i guess? It's always this long whenever i walked pass. Haha

#5: New Udon Thai Food
Yup! I finally satisfied my mookata cravings! Been craving for it for like foreverrrr. Kept bugging bf t go w me and he finally did!

Didnt take any pics besides this cos i took a video and posted it on IG instead, but idk why i cant seem t post it here.

Im not sure if they have sets for you t choose from like the one we had in BKK, cos they didnt ask us what we wanted and came t the table w this. So i guess it's just a standard set for all unless you wanna add more meat and stuff? But it was damn good! It comes w vege, tanghoon and 2eggs as well. I love how flavourful the soup is. And it's those natural kinda sweetness you get from the vegetables instead of all the seasoning. The meat were very well marinated as well! Bf thinks tt its even better than the one we had in BKK. Haha

I think the set is just nice for 2, some might find it a tad little for 3. We didnt order rice, only paul did. And it was just nice for us, maybe cos we had it for supper and we didnt wanna eat too much either. They loved the liver, but i hate it. ): It spoils the taste of my meat!

Oh! Another must order here besides the mookata (of course), is the thai iced tea!
This was so good we ordered 6 cups in total! Paul had 3 cups, as usual, and bf and i shared the other 3 cups. I think it's even better than Nakhon's! Plus it was only $1.50 a cup if im not mistaken.
The total bill added up t about $50 i think, which was really worth the price! Of course, some may compare it w korean BBQ which is definitely more price worthy since it's free flow but the taste and the feel, its just different. Haha. And the good thing is, they're open from 9am - 6am! This is definitely gonna be one of our new supper places!

Ootd: Necklace, dress, bag from jocobana and flats from BKK.
Really regretted not getting another pair of the flats during my previous trip t BKK cos its suuuuuuper comfy!
The dress and bag is also one of my fav buys from the spree, think i've mentioned it in my prev post. The dress is so friendly and the bag is more roomy than it seems!

#6:
We chanced upon this when we were having supper at bedok 85 one of the days, but were too full so we gave it a miss. Headed over again cos i was craving for sth sweet (always am) and we were in the area. Im so glad i saw this tt day cos this has got t be one of my fav icecream in the east!

We ordered shy green nuts, which was recommended by the staff, and also irish latte for the coffee lover bf. Shy green nuts is actually pistachio and choc chips, really good combi! And it's also one of their popular flavours! Loved how they name their icecream and they're alot of interesting flavours as well! Definitely returning for more sometime soon!

Went back t Creamier again cos i've been wanting t try their waffles. Its always so crowded! Not sure if its cos we always go during wkends. Haha

Ordered horlicks choc chip, raspberry love and earl grey lavender this time round. One scoop for each of us! My fav has gotta be the earl grey lavender, sucha great combination!

And the waffles were definitely better than expected! Ever since we've tried waffles from wimbly lu, every other waffles we had elsewhere were pretty disappointing. But i gotta say tt Creamier's waffles did not disappoint. Its crispy and fluffy like the ones at wimbly lu, but of course, wimbly lu still has the best! This is a good substitute t wimbly lu's if you do not wanna travel t wimbly lu cos its kinda inconvenient there.

They also serve tarts from Windowsill in the woods now. In fact there're a handful of cafes which serves their tarts. Not sure if tts why i've seen reviews saying tt the standard has dropped. =/

#8: Little Part 1 Cafe
Really cosy layout and design!
Big mug hot chocolate, $6.50
Im really picky when it comes t hot choc. Despite being a choc lover, i dont really fancy those thick and chocolatey ones. But it cant be too milky and lacks choc taste as well, tt way it'll taste like choc milk instead of hot choc (yes there's a diff!). Haha. One of my fav is from coffee bean! But tts until i learnt how t make my own. Hehe

This big mug hot choc, as the name suggests, is really big. Its as though i was drinking from a mini bowl and the mug's a little heavy. Haha. But its just how i like my hot choc! And i like how they bothered t toast the marshmallows first so it's abit like eating those BBQ marshmallows! My fav! And even bf likes this cos its just nice for him as well! He doesnt usually drink hot choc so i guess this is really not bad!

Buffalo wings (outback BBQ), $10.90
Was afraid tt these would be spicy but thank god it was bearable for me. It gets a lil spicier the more you eat it. The meat was tender tt it comes off almost clean from the bones!

Curried fries, $6.90
Their curry powder was more of the spices kind i think? So it was a lil spicy for me. ): But it was kinda addictive! I think im a fries person, especially those thin ones. I hate those thick and chunky ones! Those are more like chips right? Haha

#9: Jamie's Italian
As you can see, there wasnt a queue. Dont be mistaken tt you wouldnt have t wait t be seated. They actually get your contact details, let you know the approx waiting time and contact you once the table is ready. Our waiting time was about 1h15mins. So pls do get your number first before you go shopping and stuff. (:
Fritto misto, $27
We wanted the crispy squid and baked mushrooms but they were alrd sold out. Kinda sad actually, shouldnt you have enough t last for the day? ): But i was kinda expecting it cos i read tt it'll most likely be sold out after 7pm.

We ordered this t share instead, which was a mixture of fried seafood. The clams were really big and fresh though.

PS: Sorry for the bad quality (out of focus/wrongly focused etc) pics. Havent used my DSLR for a really long time and getting kinda rusty alrd. Plus i always feel very paiseh if i take too long t take pics of the food unless im eating w bf. =/ I admit my skills are pretty bad and still needs lotsa practice. ):

Seafood bucatini, $29.50
The noodles used werent the usually spaghetti, but tubular spaghetti. It tasted pretty much like udon. Portion was a lil small i think, cos the noodles looked really lil. =/

Fillet of fish baked in a bag, $28
Wild truffle risotto, $16
I ordered this t share w bf since i was still quite full from the snacks we had at Little part 1 and risotto always ends up t be very filling. I liked how flavourful it is, yet light at the same time so its not too 'gelat'. But the rice is a lil harder than the usual ones i think?

Tutti frutti lemon meringue, $11.50
Erm... A bit too much of the meringue? Haha.
I have no idea what's the red chunks tt looks like bak kwa cos i only ate the meringue and lemon tart portion.

Both bf and i liked this, which was rare cos he doesnt usually like lemon tarts either. I think his taste is changing? Lol. Its not overly sour, though the meringue was a bit too sweet so we ended up finishing only the lemon tart but not tgt w the meringue.

Tiramisu, $11.50
Not your usual tiramisu cos this has a tint of orange flavour. Bf didnt fancy this, but i thought it was alright. Just tt the coffee and liquor taste wasnt strong enough, it was more of a orangey taste. I guess those who dont really like the strong coffee taste in tiramisu might like this.

***

Yup ok, enough of food. Haha. I guess i'll be blogging more often since bf's in army now and im really bored at home. Time t find a job soon, yet i dont have the feel t work yet. ):

Shall continue w bf's enlistment in the next post before i finally start on TW (i hope?).
Ending off the post w another ootd for a casual day out w mummy ytd.
Vest and skirt from TW, inner tank from F21, shoes and bracelet from jocobana

Its kind of a change for me t dress like tt cos i hardly wear shoes. Im always in my comfy and trusty havaianas. Even when im in shoes i'll only wear flats and heels/wedges sometimes, but very rarely. =/ Prob why my mum always nags at me when i wanna buy heels/wedges cos i hardly wear them but they always look so pretty! ):

But i love this pair of inspired new balance so much i cant wait t wear it out as soon as i got it! Its good for a change sometimes isnt it? Haha. Even though its an inspired pair, its really comfy and the quality's really decent as well! Bought the inspired pair first t see if i'll wear often, before i invest in an authentic one. Cos afterall im not a shoe person and paying $100+ for an authentic pair might end up wasting my money.

I think i havent been shopping much from blogshops ever since i've started this preorder thingy, since i can get clothes at a cheaper price! Hehe.

Haha ok enough of excitement, till the next~
