It's been more than a mth since Valentine's Day and yet i havent got time t blog about it cos of exams. ): So i'm gonna draft out bit by bit when i'm taking a break from my books or maybe i shld just draft out when i have time during bus rides and stuff. It feels like i have 1765431234 things t do and my t do list seem t be getting longer and longer. Hate putting things on hold cos they'll just end up piling up like a mountain ):
Okay, so back t Vday. A lil history and background about bf and i. We met when we were working at EpiCentre and he's 2 yrs younger than me. Yea, some of you may think tt younger guys may be less mature and more playful and wouldnt wanna settle down so fast. No worries, cos i used t be one of them as well. I've thought tt i would never be tgt w someone younger than me, but oh well, i guess some things are just beyond our control. Haha. I've had my reservations and concerns, thus i kinda rejected him and thereafter he would always joke about it. I've thought about it and thought tt maybe i shld give it a shot since he kinda gave me the feeling tt he's pretty mature compared t those of the same age and maybe even some of the guys who're of the same age as me or even older. So one of the days when he was jokingly saying again, i accepted. Haha. Guess he was pretty shocked back then. We got tgt aft knowing each other for 2+mths (pretty fast i know), and i would say tt im a super easy catch! There isnt much courtship at all. ): But nvm, it's payback time now. Hehehe :D
I'm happy and glad tt i've made a right choice 2 yrs back. The only thing i dread's probably when he goes t army ): Hopefully 2 yrs will just zoom pass like lightning. But i guess if we can overcome this hurdle, we'd be undefeatable! Hahaha. Cos this is prob one of the more difficult phase in a r/s.
This yr's Vday is not one w much surprises cos we sorta got each other sth we wanted and also agreed on what t have for dinner. Afterall Vday is just an overly commercialized occasion, so it's more impt about what you do for the other 364 days of the yr right? (:
I got bf an Apple trackpad and a new earpiece since his was alrd facing srs wear and tear. Haha. And the boy got me this!
Cos my bag's forever super heavy and bringing a compact out is much more convenient. <3 But he also wanted t play w it la. Lol. Took so long contemplating about which cam t get for soooo long and finally decided on this cos we liked the vintage design and it has pretty good specs too. Plus we got it at a really good deal online! Though shipping was kinda delayed and it came belated.
We had dinner at The Line, Shangri-La since we've been wanting t go there and thought why not just go there on Vday. Everywhere would be packed anyway. It was slightly more ex on Vday, after the disc they offered for making reservations online, we paid about $180 for 2. It was quite a good deal actually, as compared t the usual dinner since there was free flow of drinks and also wine etc. They even prepared roses for each couple, helped the couples take a pic and also an instax pic. How thoughtful right! Definitely one of the buffets w the best service ever!

| Oysters! A must 'attack' dish for us! And always the first we'd attack. Regretted not taking more of these cos the queue got sooooo long when the crowd came in and when bf decided t go queue for it, it was 'OOS' by the time it reached his turn ): |

The Line has a really wide range of selections for both main courses and desserts, ranging from the usual sushi to dimsum and also some local delights like satay. They also had drinks like coffee and teh terik. If you're someone who love desserts or have a big appetite, i think it'd be worth it cos you'd prob be able t try each and every single dish ava. But for us, esp for me, buffets arent really worth it cos i have an appetite of a bird (as quoted from my doc) and i'll always tend t overeat t make it more worthwhile and also cos there're still things tt i wanna try. ): So if you're willing t spend a lil more, or couldnt decide what you wanna eat, you could consider The Line. It's worth it considering the range of choices you get and also for good quality food!
